ok, change the mode to "auto 108Mbps" and leave everything else the way it is. Then click apply

Next...

Click Wireless Settings under Advanced menu
Click Setup Access List

Tell me what you see in there. Is your wireless USB adapter listed in there?

If it's not in there, you're going to have to add it in there, so that it looks something like this. Except with your USB adapter name and mac address for that adapter.

And then click apply at the bottom

Follow the instructions on this page.

http://kbserver.netgear.com/kb_web_files/n101675.asp

Skip down to where it says "Configuring Access Control List:" and follow what it says from there. You will need to know the name of the USB adapter and it's mac address.

No, that's just an example in the picture...it should be whatever the name of your wireless USB adapter is, and the mac address for that adapter. Which will be something like

WG111T and whatever the mac address for that is

You have to go on your computer that has the wireless USB adapter, and then

click start
click run
type in cmd
click ok

At the command prompt type in

ipconfig /all

then hit enter

What information does it list in there for "physical address" for the wireless USB adapter? That's the MAC address, and what you need to put into the router settings along with WG111T

Or

You could try finding the mac address through the NETGEAR WG111T Smart Wizard utility, perhaps it will show you what the mac address is in there.

If you still can't figure out how to put in your adapter name and mac address, you could always try calling Netgear tech support from one of these numbers closest to you.

The media access control address (MAC) or physical address of the wireless USB adapter.

Give netgear tech-support a call though, maybe they can better assist you with setting up your wireless card over the phone.
