Hidden Mouse
Just got a new computer and it came with Vista Home Premium Edition. So I install my old copy of Guild Wars Prophecies and after half an hour, I'm ready to play. Only after I've signed in and selected my character, only by using the keyboard, do I notice that I can't see the cursor. I can see when it goes over things, as it lights people and items up that I would normally click on, but no actual cursor is shown. Using a 1680 x 1050 resolution, if it helps.

Maybe have the option enabled under your mouse properties to "hide pointer while typing".
