Thats a graphics issue... Diamond viper? more details please, as it looks the same as when i installed the 64bit version of Vista instead of the 32bit version by accident (which had no compatible graphics drivers at the time)

Ok, give us these details:

Motherboard -
Power Supply unit -
Graphics Card make and model -
Amount and type of Ram -
Size and type of hard drive -
Operating System being used -

if your not sure, a quick fire way of finding out, is click on start and click on Run, and type "Dxdiag" (without the quotes) and copy and paste the specs here

If you use Xfire, it will do this in an easier to read and more managable way if you goto your profile and at the bottom upload your system specs, then just copy and paste them

but yeah, thats a graphics error, usually due to incorrect drivers

Looks like a faulty video card to me, I doubt any driver bug (you ARE running the latest drivers, aren't you?) could cause that.

If the card's not overheating due to bad case ventilation or anything just send it back to the seller, the warranty should cover something like that.

Ok, either:

a, your graphics drivers need updating, or...

b, your graphics card is fried (it happens)

if you built the system yourself, its likely you have spare/old parts... try an old graphics card and see if it still happens (remember to uninstall the graphics drivers, then install new ones for the card you try)... if it still happens, its a driver/windows error, no worries, it happens, its happened to new machines I've built for friends before... if GW and other games run fine with the older card, the new card is rightly buggered, although i wouldn't be surprised of that, I've heard reports of flakey 1650's... seems ATI had issues with that range just the same as Nvidia had issues with the 6600 range of thier cards

What motherboard is this, and does it have a BIOS update? Seems kind of odd that directX diagnostics would report it as

System Manufacturer: System Manufacter
System Model: System Product Name

Do you have your motherboard chipset drivers installed?

ok, but which fatal1ty board is it, there are currently 7 models under the Fatal1ty range from Abit

(sorry to confuse, but if you built this yourself, you should know, or at least have the bax and manual it came with)

and the Chipset and Bios updates will be available on the Abit website, you just need to know which model motherboard it is so you can get the right drivers and updates, if they are newer than the ones that came on the driver CD/DvD that will have come with the board

I would forget about the BIOS upgrade for now and just work with what you have so far. For starters, go into the BIOS and make sure the settings in there are correct (date/time, hardware detection, etc.), then install your chipset drivers for the motherboard from the CD it came with, plus whatever other drivers your missing off the CD. There's a little more to building a computer other than just slapping the hardware in there and booting up... there's configuration settings, jumper settings, BIOS settings, driver installations, and so forth. Luckily your computer was able to boot up with the default settings for everything, but you skipped a lot of stuff from the sounds of it. Read the manual your motherboard came with and finish setting up before attempting to play games.

What I don't understand is, you know how to build a computer, but, you don't seem very tech savvy or understanding many terms or how-to's on things such as BIOS', drivers, etc..? Lol.

You seem to have an ATI card. Because the GW box comes with an ATI logo on it, this should be fine. Please check ATI.com if you have a recent graphics driver.

Umm, not quite, close, but not quite...

You also need to find and install all of the relevant updates and drivers for all your system... for instance, Graphics card, motherboard, etc...

goto the relevant websites for the drivers for those and make sure you run windows update (I know, its horrible, but itis there for a reason) and make sure you have your anti-virus, anti-spyware and (if your not behind a router with proper firewall) make sure you have a firewall installed and configured too

Anti-Virus - AVG Anti-virus 7.5 Free Edition

Anti - Spyware - AVG Anti-spyware 7.5 Free Edition

Firewall - Zone Alarm 7 Free Edition

Also, to keep your system clean, use this -

That might be your problem right there - the four extra pins are there for a reason - also if you combined a 20 and a 4 pin connector to make the 24, you have to be sure you have the right voltages on the right pins.
Red wires carry 5v, yellow carry 12v and orange carry 3.3 v. You need to know which pins need which voltages and make sure they are getting the correct one. Most sites with instructions for building computers recommend strongly against trying to combine a 20 pin psu with a 24 pin motherboard - though generally connecting a 24 pin psu with a 20 pin motherboard is ok. So I would suggest trying a new psu.

i would suggest the same thing...get you a nice new PSU and update the drivers for your board/video cards as suggest above...I recently built my own PC and it can be a bit hard to do especially if you are new to it. I fried my MOBO and CPU first time around...so grats on that :P
