Default Guild Wars and Vista

Will Guild Wars Factions work on a Laptop that has Vista? More specifically, a HP Pavilion Notebook that has Vista?

It should, yes. I play GW on my Vista desktop PC, and have a few friends who play it on Vista laptops.

GW works perfectly fine with Vista.

Be sure to get a clean install of vista, not an upgrade from XP, those are a bit buggy.

A bit? its XP with a reskin and trying to use Vista basics and fails miserably, but then hasn't this been the case with all microsoft upgrades over the years?

No, it hasn't. You obviously don't understand how upgrading works.

there was both a hint of sarcasm and a hint of reality in that comment...

obviously you haven't dealt with upgrades from other OS's

anyway, in all seriousness, even if you have the upgrade version, you can use it to do a full install of Vista (can't remember how, but i could look it up, i just can't be bothered)

*EDIT*

to do it, just install as a full install and wait til your fully installed before loging onto the 'net to verify and authenticate
