Default average monthly usage

We have had to downgrade ISP connection package and now have a max "monthly usage" and i was wondering how much GW would contribute to this?

On other games you can see a KBps display but i have no idea if that means if i run the game with 10KBps for an hour it counts 36MB to this average monthly usage cap or what

If anyone could help i'd appriciate it i don't want to get cut off from GW

1 large update can easily pass the 36mb mark, i believe.
As for just general usage, im not sure

Anet recently stated that their goal is 0.0045 Mb/s per user, or 4.5 kBytes/second.

Given the rather large number, I'd assume this calculates the patches as well. You can also assume that this is the maximum you'll ever reach. The rest depends on the area you're in, and the activity.

The in-game meter gives you a display of current transfer rate, which fluctuates and doesn't represent average long-term rate.

As a reference - if you download entire game, it's around 3.5 gigabytes. Incremental patches are smaller than that.
