Default my hijacked acct

It has now been about 12 days since this nightmare started. I want to start by saying that I put ALOT of time, energy and effort into this acct. First my acct was somehow taken (someone attached it to their ncsoft master acct) with no kind of confirmation from the (my) existing email address attached to it. This acct is less than 1000 fame from rank 10, over 10 max titles on my primary toon.

These are some of the things that WERE on my acct:
1000+ectos
around 700k
at least 3 req9 (insc) zodiac shields
2 req 10 (insc) guardian of the hunt shields
2 req 9 (insc) zodiac bows
tormented staff
at least 1 colossal scimitar
various gems from DoA
various "expensive" mods
and who knows what else

Anyway what I would like to know is if anyone has any ideas for me on how I can go about getting my stuff back.

signed
totally disgusted

the attachment is a copy of my emails with Anet

Yea i know someone that lost 3mil - he was the ultimate runner in the old days made it big back before any noob could run as dervish

You don't get anything back off Anet - basically as this would add lots of items that haven't been earned

This is different from the other post. And wouldn't you be wondering the same thing if you had lost all that stuff?

kinda new to all of this "guru" stuff in case you didnt notice the title "ascalonian squire", so if I offended you, it wasnt my intention. Since the 2 threads are similar and both by me, i would rather they close the old one and leave this one, if possible. The thing I dont get is the person that was on my acct was never on very long, so it should be easy to track what acct he transfered all of my hard "earned" items

Those type of people that steal accounts dont need to be on long to get what they want, they will "rape" your inventory of the good stuff that they know they can make a profit off of and leave all the not so great stuff...They get in, clear it and are out just like that...

So are you saying that you want them to catch the person(s) responsible for it?

Are you saying you want the items back?

I am very sad to tell you this, but those items are either

a. Already sold to various people in game
b. Transferred to a diffrent account and about to be sold

I do feel for your loss, and am sorry it happens to people, but Like stated before, nobody including Anet can do anything about getting your items back....

NOTE: Wish I had over 1000 ectos at one point

Swap Meet, I can truly sympathize with what's happened to you. It's not pointed out to people in the manuals that players should link their GW accounts with a PlayNC account to prevent this simple hack, but unfortunately it's the cold truth.

However, this is a tech support forum and a thread like this belongs more in Riverside than here, but alas, there's nothing that the community itself can do to help you out.

I would seriously advise you to PM Gaile Grey through the forums here for further assistance, as she has personally helped others who've had their accounts wrongfully hijacked.

Closed for business.
