When I double-click on the game client, the "Loading" screen with the "Connecting to ArenaNet" message comes up with 0% and stays there. There's no way to get to the log in screen. I didn't have a firewall blocking Guild Wars. I restarted my computer and it still doesn't work. Plus, I also re-installed it and it only worked the first session I installed it.

This happens to my GW sessions occasionally. What I do to correct it is kill all GW.exe from the Task manager, then re-launch GW. This usually fixes the problem for me anyway.

Well did you download the client from the GW main page, because i had the same problems with the client that i had downloaded off there before, i fixed it by re-installing the whole game with the game CDs.
