After a huge lag spike, i got disconnected from my friends list. (I was the only one to load from my group of 8 in HA) . I tried to log into my friends list but my password kept getting rejected. I closed the whole client and i am now shut out of my account. Keeps saying, incorrect password.

Now, i know my password. It is right. After my password did not work for the first 2 goes, i tried a lot of different passwords in frustration ;/ Does ANET lock you out after multiple wrong entries?

Or is my account somehow corrupt.

I'd try writing an e mail to Anet. No clue what could be wrong, bebop

So after some creative thinking, i finally figured out what my playNC account was, and after some hair pulling, the password that went with it :P

What was interesting was, when i tried to use my old password, i got error saying that it was too short. It must lie with 8-13 chars. My old pw was 7 chars, but how did it work all this time? Did that lag spike somehow put the spot light onto my rogue password and not allow me to log in anymore?

I am not sure if anyone else had this problem, but please post if u do.
