Default This game has gone unplayable..please fix this lag.

Every 10 seconds, character stops, pauses, and jumps all around the screen while pings get over 10,000.

This is unacceptable, please fix it.

...and just how do you expect members of a fan site to fix the lag?

He expects the employee's of Anet that read this fan site to fix it. Please read around a little more before posting ignorant posts.

Thanks

I thought it was my ISP causing the lag, I upgraded costing (including future prices as my contract on old one still hasn't ended) in excess of £400. Still no lag on other games but on guild wars constant 100k ping. Thanks anet! Thanks a RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GOing bunch

Meh, when the festival ends, so should the lag.

Probably due to so many players playin. It started to happen on wednesday, before the festival.

It also happened last year, by tomorrow it should be gone.

My friends from the UK, Germany, and Netherlands all have pings over 10k every minute or two. Also lots of error 7's. So this is really a widespread problem. I already sent my log to tech support.

The lag issues are something that is beyond Anet's control, especially when it comes to the European Districts. Here's their official statement on it:

http://www.guildwars.com/support/networknews/

Even more than that, Gaile has provided updates on this issue on her page in the official wiki:

Since there's nothing that anyone can do....this thread is closed for business.
