I tried this whole day to get Guild Wars logged in. ( still trying )

I can start Guild Wars, but when I'm trying to login, It keeps 'Connecting...'

Sometimes I even had the infamous 058 Error message.

Someone of our guild told that ANet is doing some work at the moment, and because of that, some routers might not be able to connect to them, thus not logging in to Guild Wars.

Anyone got the same problem or are there any messages by ANet concerning this?

I can connect, but I cant PLAY! I'm having anywhere from 1500-4500 ping spikes in FL, USA. I guess its cause of the stupid event going on?

Hello mr snow? No reason to get angry? I'm only asking for a solution or replies to the topic.
So..if you read the topic's message.. then you'll see that I'm asking others to reply on the question about the problem I'm having..
You have got a totally different problem, so it doesn't have anything to do with mine.

Me and all my fiends are having the same problem sometimes we can login and sometimes it just stays at connecting. Also if we do get in it will lag like hell. I am located in Connecticut.

I have this too but i am able to login occasionally... but when i try to switch to another char i often get a VRY long "connecting" message that ends with an error 005

Anet just doesnt love euro players (they rent SH*T servers for us)

Anet doesn't love euro players? At least they're acknowledging your problem and giving you some information.. US players (and others, I know of at least Australia also going through this) have been going through this as well for some 2+ weeks now and they haven't even publicly acknowledged that this is going on here.. all they've said is that this is a problem with a German server.. give me a break.

Anyway, you're not the first who I've seen reporting this connection problem and I'm sure you won't be the last..

I get 007 errors in an outpost all the time now and when i'm playing I get disconnected whole the time. I hate when people say it's because of my internet but it's not cause then I would have problems with other things too on my PC
