Default Unrecoverable Graphics Error

When ever i go to load my character i get a pop up saying my comupter has come across an unrecoverable graphics error.

In the pop up it gives me this link...
http://www.guildwars.com/support/en-...er_failure.php

I have follow the directions on that web page but i still have the problem if anyone could help me it would be appreciated.

Where in the game is this happening? I ask because I've had this problem in NF from the beginning in Vehtendi Valley explorable, Yatendi Canyons explorable and Yahnur Market. There's a lighting effect in there that my video card (integrated Intel...) can't process. And I've been using 3D Analyze to simulate whatever I'm missing and it works.

However, this weekend, a number of things went wrong with GW (INCLUDING the latency issue that everyone experienced), and one of them was that on Sunday, trying to restart the game in Honur Hill, I got the driver error message and had to use 3D Analyze to get in. I'd never had a problem in Honur Hill before Sunday.

But then again, I had a hardwood floor instead of water in the character slection screen for awhile on Saturday and two out-of-memory error messages over the weekend which I haven't had since I first started playing and then the terrible lag. It was very weird... it was like someone was in the game on the server side all weekend playing around with things.

Anyway, try 3D Analyze and see if that works. It's free, btw.

Yeah, Wehhan Terrace might have been one of the areas I couldn't go into. It's been awhile though so I'm not sure. I should try tonight and see. It's the entrance to Yatendi Canyon so that makes sense.

Good news Bonaho!

ANet fixed my problem in their most recent update. I don't need to use 3D Analyze any more. I suspect it fixed your problem as well, and I doubt you need to use 3D Analyze any more either. Try it out!

Thanks for the info about 3D Analyze. I was doing fine with my necro in NF, until I got up to an area in the game and whenever I try and go there, I get the unrecoverable graphics error thing. I had to get a mate of mine to take my necro somewhere I knew I could use him again. When I get the chance I'm going to try that 3D Analyze and see if that helps me out
