Northern California, ping is sitting around 1000 MS all the time. Pretty rough to monk with a 1 second delay on all your actions...

Logged at 7.30pm (GMT) and all seemed fine so decided to RA.

9 straight wins with the first team I’m in and then the lag strikes again!

After 3 minutes of no one moving I crap our, game tries to reconnect but alas Code 007.

How can this be allowed to affect so many people and for so long beats me!

Woah just got a weird and scary experience!

After several minutes of lags, 2 err7s and 1 err19, while trying to leave my guild hall i've been disconnected and get back on the login page with 4 free slots and none of my 10 characters created over my 3000 hours of play...
But everything except the remaining lags went back to normal after reconnection...

THAT WAS REALLY HORRIBLE!

Hoping Anet will fix soon those damned lags and deconnections...
/pray

Look at that monster of a computer/connection!

Yeah I am getting 300-500 ping normally, with common spikes up to 10k. Started on the 12/13th of July for me. I live on the west of coast of the United States, in (Southern) California. Very hard to monk like this!

Lagtastic!

I have had lag which makes GW virtually unplayable, for 17 evenings out of the last 20. Same effects as many posts report here... wildly oscillating ping (my personal best was 86,006 during the Dragon festival), rubberbanding, frequent disconnects. The Monday following the festival was fine..no problems at all, as was last Saturday. Mornings are great (pity I have to go to work) and early evenings too but by about 8pm (GMT+1) the game is unplayable. In the 19 months I have played GW this is the first time I have suffered with lag.... must have been storing it up lol

Other online games work just fine and my ISP say there is nothing wrong with my telephone line/connection.

My Greek guildies have had no lag but my Swedish and Finnish friends are struggling the same as me. A guildie who lives 13 miles down the road from me in Southern England also doesn't seem to have had lag either. Go figure!

I am fed up with sending NetworkDiag.log file to GW Support too!

Colossal lagspikes of 30,000ms+ in English-1 here tonight. Midlands UK.

Been like this since the beginning of the month really. Nothing new.

What IS new, is the fact that international district-1, up until now my only refuge during all of this, is now not only following suit, but is actually considerably worse.

And when I say considerably worse, well, see for yourself:

(in case the image doesn't load, the top one shows a last ping of 181,000ms, with an average of 44,000ms)

I have a BT Broadband 8mb connection. I do not have any problems accessing the web, downloading large files etc. Everything apart from Guild Wars appears to be fine.

You are kidding me? My lag is just as bad still (if not worse), and it has only been bad since it started (when everyone had it, it seems) at the beginning of this month.

Well i hope they have done something to fix things, so most of the game is playable, but i dont think "game service is back to normal" maybe im wrong and i need to test more, but 3 weeks ago i had a ping of 30 to 150 average of around 90 in most gvg games, playing last night my ping average was 250 with occasional minor lag spikes of around 1-2 sec, gvg was playable, but horrid to monk in.

More testing for me i guess.

Yeah....the lag has been really bad in Midwest USA also....I usually pinged right around 70 to 90 on my 10mb DSL....but as of the last 5 or so days it's been fluctuating from 300 to 6000 ms....thought it was on my end but then I trace routed the Anet server with the same results...

on a side note ....

I know it's not only me....lately alot of my guild members have been lagging the same times and the same missions as myself...

maybe Anet is gearing up for GW:EN

I’ve, thankfully, been lag free the last week or so but I am experiencing long load time, especially in RA/TA. Once in I have no problems.

From what I’ve seen in RA/TA a few others are experiencing the same.
