Had to give up playing the game completely..... lags of 14 seconds in Fort Aspenwood.

Crazy thing is, whilst completely frozen, both my health drops and the amount of amber collected for the enemy is creeping up?? WTF??

Get this sorted quick Anet

Edit: UK servers. Nothing until today but now!!! F**kin* useless

Been a heavy lag here for the last three days, South Coast UK average ping around 3-400, but today has been a sick joke my ping is 600 at best spiking to 2000 regularly, and once reached the 12k mark. Basically it is unplayble, been trying to get Razah for the last hour and half, makes pulling groups up there interesting

i said earlier that i hadnt been effected by the lag.................till now. now i have a constant ping of 800-1500. First the BF2 stats servers go down, now the guild wars servers are playing up, im starting to thing gaming on a whole is becoming a waste of time.

Same thing here, started lagging on friday, extreme lag sometimes freeze for 4secs or more watching my skills ping but not going off. Unable to gvg with my guild only play ha and even there I lag a lot I can play bf2142 and warcraft 3 without any lag like 20 MS.

Have had this before, (last time these lagspikes happened)

I think it has to do with routing.

From sweden btw.

Another person from The Netherlands here playing on the Euro servers. As many more have said in this thread: pings ranging from 500+ to 5K, regular disconnects, map travel not working at all. Rubber banding constantly.

The only time this weekend when I -did- get to play a decent game (pings around 250, high but doable) was late Friday night (between 0:00 GMT and 02:30 GMT)

Hope this gets fixed soon for the game is unplayable right now.

I have been suffering from very bad lag as well. 19k ping in beacons pearch. I am in England. A few others in guild have been having trouble as well.

This is made even more annoying due to the fact that I had planned on spending the weekend farming kurzick faction to get the title. I can't play cos the lag is so bad, so missing out on the extra points. Will they run the weekend again to make up for this?

Getting it in England too - Never experienced lag normally but now its just unplayable atm - Perhaps its to do with so many people playing PvP this weekend (Alright I know unllikely)

Also having very bad lag, makes the game impossible to play. Never normally have any kind of trouble.

As far as i can resolve using a tracert I get high response times from hubs like amsterdam, frankfurt and dusseldorf, there are 7 addresses that have an average of about 60-70 ms, some high spikes are occurring at these addresses, but whether they represent the true path I don't know. After frankfurt I probably run into the server that doesn't allow ICMP echo responses.

I ran it several times now, and monitoring pings in GW as well. GW pings are always high (250+), pings in tracert are ok. My best guess that some German game server is the problem. (my host was 206.127.146.102)

I just played bf2 and that ran fine for me so its not my connection, my housemate said it could have something to do with the terrible weather we have been having in england i have expirienced a bit of slowdown with web pages loading etc but not major.

Exactly the same for me. Ping of up to 2500. Never usually happens. I play in the UK. It began about midday Saturday, I assume its due to the event.

I was fine until today. No problems with the event before today. So if that was the cause then it should have started friday night.

I have had nasty lag since Friday that makes the game totally unplayable. Playing other online games with no trouble at all. This means the trouble lies with the gw servers imo. pld sort it out soon Anet.

I and my guildies have been getting crazy lag spikes for the past few days, and we're all American in American districts. I know a lot of people whom this has been happening to... this isn't just an EU problem.

Same here, I normaly get a ping of 200 and on Friday I was getting around 900 and the game was really laggy but just about playable. Last night it was ok but today I have had pings from 3000-7000 and can no longer play. My internet connection is fine so I assume it's something to do with the games' servers.

My Location is UK and playing on Euro servers.
