I'm in Belgium and I've had severe lag for 3 days now, everything like downloading and surfing the net works perfect but when I try to play guildwars I can barely move ingame.

UK and on Euro server, getting severe freezing/ping spikes. My Dutch and Italian guildy also have the same problem, totally unplayable. However it seems to be more playable when in the International District.

Australia, playing on American servers (but I see the problem in International too).

Lagspikes, game freezes, a separate area loading to '100%' without actually going *into* the area for long enough that I just give up and close GW... it's been happening since Nightfall came out for me, but I think it's gotten worse since Hard Mode was introduced.

Even though I'm on dialup, I never had this kind of trouble through Prophecies or Factions. Until now I had even pimped GW to my friends as an online game you can play fairly smoothly without broadband.

My lag problems started on Friday while I was in Unholy Temples, playing a korean team. I haven't ceased playing HA ever since but it's real annoying having to play only by clicking on our caller to follow him and blindly click T + skills when spikes are called, while I don't have an idea whether we're killing anything, despite this we took HoH several times.
As Gaile mentioned, I'm situated in Holland and this problem really frustrates me: not only because I only play PvP and good connection is needed for this but also because I've only been able to play GW Friday, Saturday and Sunday because I've been highly occupied by school affairs.

One OF my guild officers has been unable to play guildwars for about 4 days now, since his ping while playing is in excess of 2000. yet he can play CSS and BF2 with ping <100 and no lag at all. But whats weird is that he lives only a 10-15 minute walk from me, and i havent had any lag, and were on the same ISP.

Horrible lag - makes the game unplayable. On Euroservers and it seemed to kick in around the time of the last update

Been having bad lag since Friday evening. Ping's usually around 1-5K, sometimes a bit under and sometimes far over that.
The rest of my internet works just fine.
Living in Sweden, playing on English servers.

Swedish player, Europe servers.
Had it a few days (no problems with other games), basically it spikes from
+310 - +14.000 (usually between 350-1600 with a real averge of around 700).

For me (in The Netherlands) it's horrible, too. At least two other guild members, both in The Netherlands too, have been struck by massive lag spikes. The little colored dot in the bottom right is almost always red, sometimes orange, with my average ping in the thousands of ms. FPS is good, though. I also have -perf in my gw.exe shortcut, showing Tri (whatever that is), FPS and Bytes/sec. The third is normally in the thousands, but now often under one hundred. Surfing on the internet is fine, though and I tested my speed on a designated site. I tried it twice and it gave me a ping of 10.0 ms and 11.0 ms. I really hope this gets fixed quickly, as I really want to ab this weekend...

Unhappy Lag Pattern

My lag has got progressively worse.

Yesterday all was fine during the day (I'm in London UK) but by early evening to late evening my ping was averaging about 930-1400. After around 11pm everything was fine again with an average ping of around 300 or so.

Now this morning ping is around 1200. Basically unplayable

I hope someone from Anet is aware of these problems...

Yeah its unplayable at the mo. South England... was working fine until friday... leads me to wonder whether this is just because of the double AB reward weekend? Which is gutting because I really wanted to up my title >.< Really frustrating me with all the spikes and rubber banding going on =(

Holland on euro servers here, I tried to AB with pings averaging somewhere between 750 and 3000+. Sometimes everything stands still for 4 seconds.

Also when I logged on in the character select screen my characters were all naked and when I loaded to the guildhall the npc's were spinning (wtf).
