Default Lag atm?

Anyone else getting fairly frequent really bad lag spikes atm (euro or int server)?

Wondering if it's just me.

(i.e. whether I need to attack my router to fix it, or whether I can blame A-Net and wait for them to fix it at their end )

We're aware of an issue in Europe that seems, for the most part, to be affecting players in Germany and Holland. (And I imagine that could include players in the US who are playing in the EU districts, too, although that part is speculation on my part.)

The issue report emails have been passing my desk all day, and I know multiple people are a couple of teams are working to figure out the problem and resolve it.

We're very sorry for this inconvenience!

I passed along your comments to the large numbers of people receiving the issue reports. I am sure they will appreciate the info, and if they have questions or need more details, I'll let you know!

Danke!

Thank God someone noticed this, ive been lagging in the last TWO months, and i email Anet support and they say that is my ISP problem, but this must be a server problem....i hope Anet fix this as soon as possible...or else players just quit the game...

I almost never get lag but today I logged off at 16:00 (GMT) after 20 mins of lag then logged back on at 20:30 with severe lag. This ceased at around 22:00.

I put it down to my ISP at the time but perhaps not if others experienced/are experiencing the lag spikes. My friend from Holland had no lag issues but I, in the same party, had frequent error 7s.

Edit: Must Learn2Spell

My entire guild had lag spikes (total cessation of movement) four or five times during one GvG today, and another guildie who was AB'ing at the time experienced the same thing at the same time. American servers.

I'm seeing a lot of lag here. I'm in New Zealand playing on american servers.

Say your physical location to make it easier to see where the problem is localized (such as part of the internet backbone having trouble).

I'm seeing mainly red on the status indicator, a few orange flashes. Whenever My ping is hovering above one second a lot of the time

aha mystery solved,

So its not my isp.

its not only germany and holland but here in belgium too. absolutly strange just a couple of days ago it was fine, then suddenly and for a few days already I get lagspikes around an average ping off 2000 (=trust me that is insane, you can play the game with that)

The perf mon was reporting I'd connected to server 206.127.147.168 if thats of any use Gaile.
