Default EST players lag spiking a TWC problem

If you live on the EST and uses time warner cable, chances are you are getting lag spikes every 20 secs or so. This, according to PingPlotter is a road runner issue. Pick up those phones and complain because those guys are telling me its a local problem -_-

Hmm, well I have noticed very brief but cyclical lag freezes following near the same pattern as what you refer to...but I am out in Idaho with Cable One.

My fear is that this may be the return of a memory leak/virtual memory glitch issue but I don't have enough information yet to say that in any confidence.

I live in New York (play on the Europeans servers) my lines are time warner cable of course and get lag spikes like every 2-3 minutes or so. Its of the rubberbanding and slow skill casting kind. After getting a support ticket with support and including a -diag report as an attachment, I get a response telling me to download Hijackthis... I got anitivirus and spyware protection which found nothing (unless a single tracking cookie is something to worry about). Not to mention I've poked around nearly everything on my pc and found nothing out've the ordinary. This includes hidden files and folders. GAme is damn near unplayable at times...

wrong. entire NY area servers are experiencing problems. not just TWC. areas around NY are working fine but tests on speedtest.net to NY are showing Huge packet loss and extremely slow dl speeds(under 1000k/sec). the same tests through Bangor, Maine are fine. it is nothing that TWC can fix so writing/calling in and complaining will accomplish nothing. you wanna get it fixed, complain to the FCC.

P.S. i live on the east coast and haven't had a lag issue since the d.festival ended. and i do this stuff for a living(just sos you knows).

But it seems pingplotter shows most of the packet loss happened at a roadrunner hop.

I dont know about increased packet loss in the NY area but I do know that verizon users are not experiencing lag spikes of the same nature in guild wars.

This lag is experienced in WoW too.

My connection goes through similar hops at the ones posted on the wow forums.

ok so i looked at all of the tracert info on that page and it still seems as though it is getting through the TWC stuff just fine(nyc.rr.com)or(***.rr.com). it seems as though it is a problem after the TWC servers like i said before. it looks as though there is a switching issue between TWC/ATT/and whoever else is running servers in NY. at least that is what i am seeing.
