Default Sudden rise in Error 07s :(

I don't know if this is happening to anyone else, but ever since the last update (I believe the Hero's Ascent one), I have been getting disconected left and right eith the Error 007. I've followed many different intrustions, none of them worked, and come to the conclusion that its not my internet connection, since it works fine with everything else.

It seems to be happening to my friends too, at times we all get D/Ced at the same time. So has this happened to anyone else? And if it has, you wouldn't happen to have some how over come it, right? Because it's getting to the point where I can not longer play the game (Been playing for over a year now, never had this problem till now)

So yeah, anyone know what to do? I don't think so, but I figured I'd ask since its driving me nuts...

Yeah, it's been happening to a bunch of us, including myself. Been getting DCd maybe once every 15 minutes or so. I have no lag, no other problems. Just a sudden disconnect, followed by a "Network Error" message. Farming's pretty much out of the question, as is working on my Survivor character. So for now, GW is on hold. -_-

Tried switching from American to International districts...didn't help at all. So...I dunno. *shrug*

Now with the news of yet another Dragon Festival, I suppose that means even MORE lag and network trouble to look forward to. Wonderful. -_-

Maybe the server hasn't had its early morning coffee yet.

I haven't had it happen again since, so fingers crossed hopefully its gone.

I've been having this problem too. I haven't done a quest or mission since the update without disconnecting at least once. It's not too bad because I haven't been doing anything too difficult and the reconnects work fine. It's just annoying. And I keep getting disconnected from the friends list too.

I've never had this many err 7's in two years of playing. Oddly though, last weekend I was having a lot of lag spikes. Now my connection is fine until suddenly I'm d/c'd.

And I know it can't be my internet because TS and everything else is working just fine.

Same here man, I've been getting a lot of err7s lately and it's quite ticking me off. I'm in American dists living in Canada and I have come to the conclusion these DCs are not the problems of my Internet connection. It's the gw. I hope Anet has something to say about this, because I just got 4 err7s in the last hour during tombs.

And ya after 26 months of playing gw over 5600 hours, I haven't had this many DCs. I never err7'ed before even if I lagged, but these kinds of err7s, I'm very annoyed. I wish Anet is aware of this hopefully...

I got err 007 last night, I could log straight back in though.

I've always had good luck with such things though, could count the times I've had err7 on one hand.

That's a good point vergerefosh, getting a lot of err7s especially when the game's minimized. Been playing GW and WoW simultaneously for quite some now, and whenever I come back to GW after been on WoW, I'm back to the character selection screen with a network error.

And here I was thinking it was me...

I've just returned to GW (anticipation of Eye of the North), and the performance (especially) in town/outpost has be, er, 'BAD'. Not so bad out of town, but then again I'm not trying to get to a merchant, or my storage, or whatever when I'm out of town.

Without any official forum, it's hard to gauge whether this is the current state of play, or something out of the ordinary. Whatever is going on, I hope it clears up before I decide to put money down on an expansion that may not work for me...

Any clues? Anyone?

Yep its been happening to me too. And since its the Ping thats at pretty high numbers im pretty sure its not me. Maybe the problem at that Euro server is effecting American servers somehow?
