The whole game is like that. I was talking to some people over in factions when the area locked up and everyone started getting disconnected from the server. Dunno what bug caused it but for now there's nothing anyone can do until Anet fixes it. So I hope you have a backup plan for today...

I've had nothing but problems since the Dragon Festival. 1,000-12,000ms pings, and then all was well after the festival ended. Now, after the server maintenance, I get 007'd about 1-5 times a day.

And as you (and everyone else), right now I can't log-in.

I managed to get back in HOWEVER a mini rollback must of occurred cause now I have to redo Seaboard on my Paragon. Seems the servers are glitching as usual.

Code 040 when I log in, and if I do get in it's a 040 again somewhere.

Earlier I crashed, well so everyone did. I couldn't log back on my Euro account, and a second after I've changed for my American one and logged in normally. I could chat, map, etc. Then I switched to HM (because people reported that if you were in HM they couldn't zone, while they could do it in NM) and couldn't zone at all. Even in NM I couldn't zone - I got d/c'ed and even though I can log back in, I can't load any character.

Since a few days before the HA updates, I've been lagging out up to 10 times a day, and several of my guidlies/alliance members have d/c'ed at the same time. I thought it was my connection at first, but when seven or 8 people scattered across the world says the same thing... it's not just one connection.

And well... I thought they had done maintenance on the servers? O_o;;...

THANKS ANET!

And i'd do a support ticket too. (Or 50 of them) But i really dont want to go through a 30 step process just to have them most likely send an automated response back to me.

We've experienced a major cooling system failure in our datacenter, which has brought some of the Guild Wars servers down. Our IT team is busy fixing the problem. We will provide updates including an ETA as they become available. Thank you for your patience.
You beat me to it Killmur

Guys, sometimes cooling systems fail, areas lose power, mistakes are made, and hardware has problems. That's life. Relax, it's just a game. You know, for fun.

You don't need to bash on ANet every time they have a hardware problem. They're not doing it on purpose.

lost about 1508 kurzick factions. it was really odd too, everyone in my AB battle was stuck after the game ended. we could run around and everything. mass fragfest ftw.
