Just a while ago I was playing my paragon and decided to take a 5 minute break. After the quick break I went back to Guild Wars but now whenever I log in it just keeps saying Connecting.... I click Cancel and try again and get error=58.

What do I do to fix this?

Also

Thanks for any help.

Hello,

Did this happen last night or a few hours ago, WHY Ill tell you.

I suffered from really really bad lag last night (12hrs ago from this post date/time), thus your PC is not connecting to the GW servers properly or at all you loosing packets prolly.

I sent a ticket and they said I must try XYZ, with is BS cus ive done XYZ months ago. Then I said it dont work, then they said OH it must be my connection call my SP, even I sent them a log of a bandwith test monitor (international one saying I have rather decent connection ofer a wide lot of protocals)

I raised the issue with guildies while having a ping of 14k+ AVE, and everyone was lagging, so BAD that a lot left at the end, then I met up with a X-Guildie in Sing Jae and even there players were moaning about this.

I raised the issue "Why are a lot of people in GW moaning about LAG then, and you keep telling me its my connection?" again and I did get a response, well look into the issue, but this looks like a "isolated incedent"

I still say, GW is getting progressivly worse and worse, ot maybe the switched some servers to GWEN and make the other take the load on the other chapters I dont know. I just know its getting bad, very BAD.

Please GW fix this lag, and hopefully I't was this bad for teporeraly.

The last time I got this problem I fixed it by deleting my .dat file. I just don't wanna download another 2GB again.
