Unhappy Please read........................

Hi again.
recently i made a thread about the "Unable to initialize 3d output" error.
well, here i am again, with new information about my computer

I have a Packard Bell computer, version "IMEDIA 8014
i have an nvidia geforce 61xx graphics card ( at least i think so )

i ran the dxdiag, and it says not availible for anything. i will give you an attachment, showing that the computer operates without even knowing who my manufacturer is, what my graphics card is, nothing !

i know why this occurs, its because i didnt install some CD that came with my computer. but that cd is broken. i wanted to go to the ASUS main site and download a new one, but i cant seem to find it :'(

what to do ?? maybe someone can help me ?

please im desperate, i didnt play GW for 8 days, i surprised i still live.

I would contact Packard Bell and see if you can get a replacement CD from them.

http://www.packardbell.com/support.htm

You can probably download all the drivers, software etc from the site as well

The motherboard in your computer is a proprietary board ASUS made for Packard Bell, which explains why you couldn't find anything on the ASUS website.

Here is a link to the specs and other tech info on your computer

Good luck

wow thanks! i managed to find the correct driver and now gw works.

but theres another thing, ||| i have to download every single town and outpost/mission/explorable area||| it takes about 10 minutes for each town/outpost/mission/explorable.

plus, my characters' armors are different, they look different than they looked before, they dont have the same armour color. but, that character thing acctually managed itself out, so my chars are good now.

but i still have to download every town/... why ?? why is this happening ?

thanks in advance

p.s.: i reinstalled the game and same thing happens. i reinstalled directx too.

SInce you reinstalled the game every update since the game was made will be downloaded, also, every time you enter an area for the first time after an install it will download specific textures and unpack them. Thats perfectly normal after a new install.
