Thumbs down GW turns off...plz help!!

I need some serious help... The other day i bought Guild Wars NIGHTFALL for my new gaming computer that passed the recommended requirements. I play it and every little while, the game closes, like exits and then some popup comes up. Theres a spot to type in a report I can send to guild wars which ive done many times or else u dont send it. Theres no error number or error or anything. It just says Guildwars has closed, plz type up a report or something like that. But i dont anymore.. It even does that when my graphics are on low. It's impossible ot play like this... I also have a 256mb ATI Radeon 9200 video card... So, please help me!

Anyone got an idea what is causing this?
Tried reinstalling the Client and im sure it wasn't accidently closed by pressing Alt +f4 or the likes.

From what I understand he is talking about a report you can send to Anet which pops up automatically after this crash occures.

If it was a problem on Anet side you would get an error code. I would think it's an hardware issue.

Maybe running with the -dx8 and -noshaders command line switches would help, because the OP has an old Radeon 9200 graphics card. If memory serves the 9200 cards are only DX8 compliant anyhow.

Don't know if this will help but are you using vista?

On Friday Microsoft just posted a hotfix for gaming crashes under vista - had something to do with address space.

For more details check out the maximum pc website.

It's too easy to blame Vista. I for one, have had no issues with Vista since swapping over. Many people I know have had no issues either.

That may be but apparently for a lot of people Vista was causing a problem - otherwise Microsoft would not have released the hot fix.

In any case - if you are using vista it's worth a shot.

Surely nobody would be running Vista on a DX8 card, I guarantee it's down to the shitty graphics card not liking Nightfall!
