Holy Unoptimized Flash, Batman!
Wow, the guildwars.com has a new Flash promo for the GEWN preview and it's eating 100% of my CPU! Yowza, I haven't seen one that bad in ages! It's doing it in IE and Firefox. Athlon64 2.4GHz single core. Poorly coded Flash FTMFL!

Wow, you are right. Normally some videos or really active flash sites do that.
But I bet that its the circling graphic in the middle. Poor actionscript will eat cpu cycles for sure. |

Yeah, I love the title.
But I don't love the immense lag. Use http://players.guildwars.com. It's essentially the old GW site. http://www.guildwars.com is the same but no full news articles, game update pages, and a ton of annoying ads for each chapter. |
