New Modem?
Hi, i consider my self a noob when it comes down to ping and internet connections etc. I was wondering if i bought a new modem would my ping be lowered? At the moment i am using the free modem that i got from virgin when i signed up with there broadband, i am looking along the lines of something like this,

No, your ping and connection depend on your isp. If your concerned about your latency (ping) then you should contact your isp, make sure your computer is spyware/virus free, and run a few speed tests to ensure your getting what your paying for.
