Hey guys, i'm having a very strange problem, and i have no idea what hte problem is. Was playing on my necro, killed the Hunger, and started loading Wehhan Terraces. Waited for a while, and it didnt come up, so i logged off. There was a window that said this: basically, said GW had encountered an unrecovereable graphics driver error and had to close. So i thought, oh crap, what to do? So then, i logged back on to GW, and logged back onto my necro, and tried bringing her to Wehhan Terraces, since it brought me back to the town i was originally at, since i just hit alt+f4 to close it out. So, of course, it said it had loaded 100%, and sat tehre for about 30 seconds. So i minimized it, and there again was the stupid window giving me the same message. So i closed GW, and tried logging on any of my other characters. And i can, no problem whatsoever. The only problem i have is that i can't log on my necro anymore. And she's my baby with 2 15k armor sets

. Please help me guys! i'm a noob with anything inside a computer. oh, and if it helps, here is the type of driver that came with my crappy computer: intel 82845G/GL/GE/PE/GV graphics controller.

did you try reinstalling the driver?

i didn't know if it would help or not, since it's only affecting one character.

well it never hurt to reinstall it, and your using integrated graphics which is something i wouldn't recommend to play with.

but you can log in to your other chars, have you tried taking anyone of them wehhan? if so do you get the problem with them?

I doubt if that graphics card is supported that far in to Nightfall. A friend of min had a similar problem once he reached Wehan Terraces and had to go out and purchase a PCI graphics card that was supported to replace his integrated graphics.

Fear not! this is from wiki:
"Along with Yatendi Canyons, there is a bug with this area, many people using Integrated Intel Graphics cannot go into this area and crash if they attempt to. This problem seems limited to the 82xxxG series of cards. It is probably due to severe limitations or absence of hardware Transform and Lighting (TnL) and can be remedied with the 3DAnalyze program."

That can be download on this very page. Let see if I can dig the link up. Ah here we go!

Just have a read first, then download the driver. It'll fix your problem. Then save up for a new proper 3D card!

Ty guys, i'll try DL that now, and i'll post here later if things work out (gtg to work in 5m in :x). And btw, i know i oculd look elsewhere in this forum for what to buy, but i'm so noob idk where to begin. So, are vide/graphics cards teh same thing? and if so, which should buy? i'm pretty poor atm ;/. Ty (what's best for cheap? lol)
