I'm reading that once created the login name is a permanent one and there is no option to change it.

I would prefer to update an obsolete email address if possible but if anyone has any info that differs from this can you please let me know thanks

the email used to log in cannot be changed, i recently tried and was told by plaync support it cannot be done. the only email that can be changed is the one used for your plaync account but the old one remains being used without change on gw's.

Well depends...you don't need to be emailed on your login...for A.Net's it's just a String to identify your account with it.

It can only be done if you haven't tied your login to a PlayNC account by accessing the online store.

Unless they changed it, Targren is right. I, for instance, changed the email I used to access my secondary account a few months ago.

I did it about 2 weeks ago. That doesn't mean it hasn't changed since then. This is Anet, after all, but chances are good...
