Default Some Questions About Cybersitter

Soon after I first purchased Guild Wars I figured out that occasionally the program Cybersitter keeps you from loading certain towns and explorable areas. I've been disabling the program every time the problem occurs but lately it is getting to be a real pain. I was wondering if there was a way to allow Guild Wars to download the info it needs without disabling the program. Anybody with ideas or experience with this problem would be greatly appreciated.

O and sorry, I know there have been topics like this before but when I searched the word "cybersitter" and "cyber sitter" nothing came up.

According to the Cybersitter info-base:

"You can either exclude certain ports from filtering or specify ports to deny access to all together, by going to the Main Tab of CYBERsitter, then clicking on Advanced. "

So you could try allowing port 6112 and see if that helps.

Unfortunately GW uses port 80 as well, and you probably don't want to set that as unfiltered as that is the port used to connect to web sites.

Thanks a lot Immortius. I'll try allowing port 6112 and hopefully that'll help.
