My wife and I are experiencing the same problem. We get insane pings on each computer with 30,000ms and even 60,000ms pings. I've contacted our ISP and everything is fine. we browse the internet just fine, downloads, videos, everything is just fine, even other games play fine. I've done pings and tracert's to the GWs IP's and I they start getting lost after the 19 hop So I'm pretty sure it's a problem with GWs and it has been like this since their last update. I've reported this several times and I'm yet to receive a helpful response. If anyone from GWs Team is reading this. please notice that there IS a problem and we need help.

PS: It seems the bad pings get better as night comes at least where I am located.

Edit - We're located in the Dominican Republic (ISP - Codetel)...I have been getting er 007, 005, 058, 026, and a few other weird messages since Friday morning...I'll try and keep track of all the messages and update.

Tried playing over the weekend and was still encountering problems (005, 007 and just plain freezing).

Was on for a little bit just moment ago and despite some rough lag i was able to load from zone to zone.

For the record, also in Portland Oregon, with Comcast.

Wow guys sorry to hear you're still having problems. Mine seems to be fixed so I had stopped checking back here assuming everything had been corrected. Well, you guys may think I'm crazy here but just entertain this idea for a moment. What I did was: Open and close GW until the Announcements box appears. Once it has loaded type your password and try to log onto one of your characters. If you have a Pre-Searing character log onto it as this seems to be almost a guaranteed zone. Once you've successfully LOADED into a town and are actually able to MOVE click the district drop down menu and select options... if you're in America select Europe English district 1. If you're in Europe select America English District 1. If you're in some other country go to a different country listed on there. From there you should be able to play on those servers and hop zone to zone. But do not despair! You are not stuck here and you do not have to play there. From that point switch back over to your home server/district and you will be free to play hopefully. That is what I did and have not had a single problem since. Coinsidence? Possibly. Doesn't hurt to try though. My husband did the same thing and it fixed his also. If it doesn't work make sure you keep posting until someone is able to help you with your problem!

Good luck!!
