Hmm last thing i remember is playing with my warrior in Drakkar lake doing the Nornhood quest. Everything goes fine untill i run into some centaurs and the game freezes i wait for a while and nothing so i decide to close it.

but now when i try to open GW the grey window will sit at connecting to GW 0% forever

Found reason for bad lag & Crashes

Hope this helps. If not, Copy your GW.dat file to somewhere on your computer and reinstall GW, then replace the new GW.dat file with your old one you saved.(This is so you don't have to download all the new builds and updates.) Then, the first time you startup GW do the process which is described in my link above.
