Post all of your computer info(component models). Did this happen after you installed Eye of the North, or is this a problem with the normal campaigns?

What Anti-Virus, Spyware, Adware, and Firewall software do you use, or any other utilities? What programs are running when you try to get on GW, even processes running in the background?

I suggest using imagecfg to limit GW.exe's CPU usage to a single core. I recommend Avast(Free) or AVG(Trial, then purchase) Anti-virus programs(Avast is easier to use), Spybot S&D(Free), Ad-Aware SE Personal(Free), and CCleaner(Free). After you install these programs, download the updates and do the scans. Also perform Disk Cleanup by going into my computer, right clicking on your C drive, click properties, and click on Disk Cleanup. Then perform a Disk Check by clicking on the Tools tab in C Drive Properties window you opened up earlier and click on Check Now. After that is complete Click on Defragment Now in that same window to defrag your drive. Recommended to restart your computer after all that is done. Hope this helps you out.

Links to downloads:
Avast Anti-Virus
AVG Anti-Virus
Spybot S&D
Ad-Aware SE Personal
CCleaner

Try going to the manufacturer's website of your video card and sound card and download the latest drivers. In fact...make sure all of your drivers are up to date.

After a semi-recent update I had weird video-related freezes when I had Vertical Sync turned on. I turned it off, and it hasn't happened in months. Give it a try.
