Default Mouse button mapping

I want mouse buttons to activate skills.

I have a Dell 5-button mouse with updated drivers.

With default settings, GW does not detect any MOUSE5 or the like.

I tried mapping "1" to a mouse button.

I can press enter, then click the button, and it will type "1".

However it will not activate the skill. I cannot use the mouse button to re-assign an action as "1".

I use a Logitech mouse similarly to this. Mapping the key to a mouse button outside of GW (in the driver itself) should work. That's what I do. If it doesn't work, it may mean that the mouse isn't set up properly. First thing to check: Are you use the extra buttons work outside of Guild Wars?
