Default Which Reg Cleaning to use software?

Hello.

I read in a gaming magazine that using Reg cleaning software can boost your performance slightly. I use to have one ages ago, but can't recall for the life of me what it's called.

Can someone recommend a free or decent one I can use?

I think you got the URL wrong. The one you give goes to one of those dodgy redirect sites... and I would not download anything via one of those pages as it is highly likely to be infected with something nasty..

I think that what you meant was:

http://www.ccleaner.com/

CCleaner (Crap Cleaner) has always worked very nicely, effectively and efficiently for me.

Spybot: S&D is also good.

I've used CCleaner religiously for a couple of years now. It's great at cleaning and never deletes anything it shouldn't.

I used CCleaner for like 2 years? Its awsome. Also use tuneup from time to time but most of the things there take a while.

CCleaner (freebie) google it.

Wintools (from godlike developers) - outstanding proggy but it's not *cough* (if ya know what I mean) free. Has a nice start-up manager in it as well.

Cleanup! (freebie)

Lavasoft AdAware (freebie)
http://www.lavasoft.de/

I use them all, and what one doesn't catch the other will.
