I get 5-7 FPS on highest settings and here is my system

1.7Ghz AMD Athlon MP
GeForce FX5200
512 Ram
Windows XP

*Yes everyone point and laugh*

And on the lowest settings possible the most FPS i can get is 30-40

It's cool that GW will run on that though.

Edit - I ran mine without V-sync, lowest possible settings and got 420fps. Not to bad for a laptop I guess. With everything max, but without v-sync I got mid 100's

I wouldn't laugh just yet. I had Guild Wars up and running on this :-

PIII @ 1GHz
448MB PC100
GeForce4 Ti4400 128MB (AGP)

When I say running, it was just about playable at the lowest settings but that's not bad for what in all reality is my crappy little file server that sit's humming in the corner.

...and I only get around 15-30fps

anyone got some tips for improving the fps? seems to be getting worse all the time as my old computer used to get between 40-60 and it was a lot worse than this.

hmm im on a amd athlon 64 3000+
1gb of ram
Ati radeon X1650pro(£40/$80)

i get 30-60fps (max settings)

Its either your card, or you got too much running a wipe or ummmmm....

IF your pc is abit dead... Try Stuff like

7600GS > X1650Pro

More detailed system specs and config settings will definitely help.

Highest quality/AA4x/1280x1024/no v-sync/looking at ground: 250 fps
