Cool Help me build a computer

I don't know much about computers, but I want to build the cheapest computer possible that can run guild wars.

I don't usually use anything else besides probably music storage, and not even that much music at all.

Can someone start me on building this? I'm on a low budget, but still want to run guildwars with no lag or have bad graphics problems.

Just build a normal computer with XP as the OS. As long as you put in a good processor, enough RAM, and a good graphics card, it will work. Don't use Vista.

Just buy a pre-built one from a store.

You should put in a superior prossor of vigor to give it a long life.
Then Mealandru's graphics card to make sure the graphics look nice. (so you can look up female ele's skirts)

You should also make sure you have a Complicated chip of major wind prayers so it runs fast.

Only joking, idk anything about coputers

http://www.newegg.com/

That's your god among men.

Building a computer always depends on your funding, but a basic computer requires hard drive, motherboard, processor, RAM, keyboard, monitor, mouse. Motherboards come with a video card and a sound card, but you can buy one on your own. If you are using a wireless network you'll also need a wireless networking card, but if possible I suggest hardwiring it.

Your most important decision will likely be Intel vs Athlon.

This is what I got so far, can all these work together? Is there any oubvious upgrades I can make or just bad choice of items? I also would like some info on cases, and a cheap one that will fit all this. I hope I'm not leaving anything out... if so, tell me <3!

Your list looks good. The memory link doesn't point to any specific product, so I hope you have some 2GB kit in mind. Since you are on a low budget, consider one of the cheaper AMD processors, like:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819103778
It's slower than the 6000+, but for GW, it won't make that much difference.

If you are really fine with just 74GB of space, then get the Raptor. Otherwise, there are bigger and cheaper hard drives that are almost as fast.

You still need a power supply and case:

This is what I got so far, would anyone else like to make comments on it and improvements?
Would this run guildwars flawlessly?

I think I might want to change out the hard drive to that, thoughts?
