Default PlayNC Store

Myself and my roommate are both suffering the same issue with the PlayNC store. We're both trying to buy the GoTY edition of Guild Wars there so that we can begin playing, but upon submitting all of the required information, it says that our purchases can not be completed at this time, and to try again later or tommorow. We've been trying for 4 days, has anyone else experienced this same issue? If so, what did you do to resolve it. Going out and buying the game physically is not an option for us, and we'd like to try it out.

Default I really don't know what to say.

I really don't know what to say. I had the same problem, and so I decided to go out and get the boxed set.

Actualy its what I advise you do, its the same pricewise and you have hardware and codesheets in a more solid form then with a digital buy.

You could try the playNC store, you can buy it there if you 'MUST' have the digital download.

I also sent you a little gift to allow this problem to breeze more smoothly.

Menson, the gift I PMed to your IM box here.

Heres another idea, Visa Gift Card. The code on it works like a Credit Card Number.

I was using a credit card to attempt the purchase, so i'm not sure that a visa gift card would help. Your gift helped get me in the game though, at least. So thanks!

Hey no problem, try it out see if you like it and not.

Also remember Guildwars is in its closing, soon Guild Wars 2 will be out so you may want to consider saving if that is also an option.

Oddly enough, the in-game store that I was prompted to go to after the demo expired presented me with the same issue. I guess I just wasn't meant to play Guild Wars.

I don't think the word "soon" applies here.

I know this is a stupid question, but, were you trying to use a well known credit card, like Visa or MasterCard, or were you trying to use something like a credit card from the First Bank of Latvia? It sounds as though the problem was with the PlayNC store not being able to verify the card/transaction.

It was a Visa card, and I use it almost every day, so i'm sure it had nothing to do with the card. I'm really dissapointed here, I liked the demo and I want to play, but it seems to be just out of reach.

I searched for the error message online for about an hour, but it didn't turn up any results. The error code was 1751188, has anyone else encountered this?

My roommate had this problem last night. She was using a Visa and couldn't get through the first 4 times, but it finally worked.

Try buying a code on PlayNC.com

That will help you out and it verifys alot easyer then the store, you also link your trial account to the playNC account and buy guild wars digitaly there.

Your CC should verify there. Also if you keep having issues, your bank may be having a few problems.

You need the money to be in your account, not pending, the total needs to match the max limit or stay under it to be more exact or else your card may outright block the transaction.

Write to the PlayNC help center also, we are players helping players, but there the big wigs that have the final say.

Wow, I have been trying it all day to no avail, and I just went to the grocery store, got back, and decided to try it a final time, it worked!

Thank you to all those who helped me figure this out!

I'm getting that exact same problem now...the thing is, it worked fine last night when I used the in-game store for the first time. Now, I keep getting the "did not pass risk management assessment (Code: 1751188)" error, even though my current purchase is for LESS than the one that succeeded.

So frustrating. If they get one single thing right, you'd think it would be enabling people to give them money, right?

Btw, I called my bank and asked about it - they said they didn't see any declined transactions on the account. They said that if they had refused the transaction, it would have shown up. So it's not a credit card issue, it's an NCSoft issue.

Sent a ticket to customer support, but only auto-responses so far...
