I'm trying to open a PlayNC Account through GW, and when I try to go past the page where I enter a new account name and password, I get an error message 'Network Error, please check connection to internet. code 179113.'

I have turned off my antivirus, and firewall, and have no idea what to check next.

Try this, in this order.

1: go to PlayNC.com
2: Create your account there
3: Go into Guild Wars
4: Link your Guild Wars account to your PlayNC account that you just created in steps 1 and 2.

Thanks for advice, but I cannot create the account. Thats where the error message come up.

You CANNOT make a PlayNC account from inside Guild Wars, you MUST create the account at there website and 'then' either link your Guild Wars account to it, or create your Guild Wars account inside of the PlayNC site.
