hi, ive had this sort of problem before, but only sometimes during the game. My friend just bought the exact same router ( wireless g+mimo, mod no - F5D9630-4) and its working perfectly for him, he has a desktop ( not sure about the specs) and im playing on a lap with :
Windows Vista Home premium 32 bit,
ATI Raeon xpress 200m series,
80gb HD. 37.5 left,( used the -image thing to download all of GW),
894 RAM,
PROCESSPR :T2060 @ 1.60Ghz 1.60Ghz,
Norton Internet Security 2007,
AOL internet,

Any help is appreciated,

off the top of my head, my best guess is: you're gonna have to configure/and or disable your Norton proggie to allow GW access.

Norton firewall has got gw.exe and gwsetup on its exceptions. I went to my friends house, with norton as it was and (as i told you before) he has the same router as me. I tworked fine over there, the only difference that i can think of between the two routers is that his internet provider is bt whereas mine is aol. Does the internet provider make any difference? ,

I think it's a general internet error as I have just lost connection to the game and cannot reconnect. Can select character but then freezes at 0% so my advice give it an 1/2 hour or so and try again.

i just managed to log in to one of my characters =) but ive had one problem ever since i started guild wars. Every time i map travel or go into a portal it says 'connecting 0%' then after around 30secs loads up, but sometimes it doesnt load up. At my friends house it said 'connecting 0%' for a second maximum then loaded, any ideas why that happening ?
