Default PC Game Pads for GW use

I'm looking for a Game pad(controller) to use for Guild Wars. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what a good one would be? If you already use one...what type, and how well does it work? Thank you.

I can't see how you could possibly control Guild Wars via a gamepad. Stick with the keyboard & mouse, they are far superior.

I agrea with the above post keyboard mouse is a way better option but in some cicumstances I can see how a pad could be manageable.

A game pad is manageable. The thing is you need to be able to apply key bindings to every available buttons and then probably to button combos. As said previously, GW was designed to be used with a keyboard and a mouse. If you find it annoying to cover the whole keyboard, you can always buy a gaming mouse. Razer and Logitech both have good models. Personally i like the razer deathadder mouse. You can assign the keys you use the most commonly to the programmable buttons. That way you don't have to reach the part of the keyboard you find annoying to use but you still profit from the keyboard & mouse.

Personally, i rarely use the right part of the keyboard in PvE, so i maped the last skills on my bar ot my mouse. Allows me to use WASD and the last 3 skills #6,7 and 8 very easily.

I was thinking about just sticking with the keyboard/mouse config I've got setup. But, I am getting a gamepad for use with emulator programs such as zsnes and epsxe.
