Default Will my computer run the GW games?

I'm currently playing Prophecies with little to no problem. I see that Factions has the same recommended system settings. But I also see that Nightfall and Eye of the North have higher recommended settings.

Here are my computer specs:

Intel Pentium 4 2MH
40 GB hard drive
768 MB ram
Radeon 9550 graphic card with 256 MB ram

This system runs prophecies pretty well. I assume it will run Factions. But I'm afraid to try Nightfall or Eye of the north. Do you think that my system will run these games?

Any feedback will be very helpful. Thank you in advance.

yep should run it without a problem. system requirements are virtually the same throughout the chapters.

You're right. I am new. I have taken an interest in these games. I had a question. I thought that's was to be encouraged. I thought that's what these forums were for.

Oh well. I guess posting here has the same risks as joining a PUG. You are bound to run into idiots.

Everyone else, thank you so much for the positive replies.

to the mod doing the pruning: you might as well delete my responses in this thread as well as they make no sense now

Ram Schtein: hope my answer helped you

yeah...after a couple of deleted posts this thread has lost some fluidity. Anyway, it did help and I'm happy to hear that my computer should be able to handle all of the games.

It just makes me nervous that my system is higher than the minimum requirements but not quite up to the recommended requirements.

Know what I mean?

recommended requirements just mean you will be able to play at high resolution with all the eye candy turned at a reasonable frame rate. you should be able to play at medium settings at 1280x1024 resolution at a reasonable frame rate with your setup i should think. if you meet the minimum requirements you should be able to play the game so dont worry too much about it just get the best settings you can through experimentation and enjoy the game

Thanks. My computer knowledge is minimal. I'm really enjoying Prophecies right now and (not to look too far ahead) I am looking forward to beginning a new chapter when that time comes. Not sure which one yet, but that's half the fun.

Lord Cooper, you have been more than helpful. Thanks again.
