Blueyonder before VM and I never had the probs that we're experiencing now....

BT also fail to tell their customers that it depends on your landline as to what speed you get. They say that you can get up to 8mbs, but very rarely will you get that. When we tried BT we got less than 1mbs and GW was laggy as hell and was practically impossible to play. Would never go to landline broadband, cable (how much I hate VM) is the best type of broadband imo

I like how they say, you can get 20mb broadband, but put their hands up after saying, yeah sorry we cant actually go that fast, we seem to be having problems with it xDDD

As a little aside.

VM are apparently about to double the bb speed for you guys again. I know they've done this twice before, so anyone on 2mb gets 4mb, 4 to 8 etc etc. Don't know of any other provider that does this.

Ex telewest customer myself, I route from where I am to the UK into the VM system (local ISP's are required to setup a massive firewall that blocks out any content that may be offensive to a certain religion).

I'm just hoping that VM might consider refunding me the costs for the calls to Korea and the US for this little jaunt.

Ports used are 80 and 6112

GameServers shouldn't be a prolem as the login servers send the GameServer IP with the REFER_TO_GAMESERVER packet

Cheers Pablo. Just managed to get those a little time ago but you're a star for posting them.

You're also correct on the game servers themselves. It's just the login servers that are the issue.
