Update 7/12/2007 question
I have a quick question, After the new update; I had to download all my files back, even 100MB+ to get Into the login screen.. does anyone else have this or is it just me? Please answer quick because I'm currently downloading 24,000 files to get into RA.

No. I did not. Are you sure you didn't by accident delete your .dat file for Guild Wars?

I never touched my gw.dat files.
I have 2 GW folders, 1 has Factions and I think the other 2 have Prophecies and Nightfall. Maybe the update only applied to one folder.. I have no Idea. The update also restored everything to default settings. |

Why do you have two different GW folders? It's all the same game, you only need one GW file. You're just eating up hard drive space.

 I also found 2 files on my desktop, Gw.dat and Gw.tmp. These we're created 2 days ago on 05/12/2007. |
