Problems connecting to ArenaNet?
i bought factions a month or 2 ago, installed it, and played for a little while. but then i got wow and deleted guild wars. my wow free month expired and i dont really want to pay to keep playing so i thought i would give guild wars another shot. one of my buddies plays constantly and looks like he has a great time.
but when i went to reinstall last night i can't get past the 'connecting to arenanet' screen on the installer. im trying again now and it still won't complete the connection. this is kind of frustrating. is there anything i can do? some official guild wars forums might be nice, but i guess ill try here. |

nevermind. i fixed it by taking it off the firewall allowed list, and then readding it.

Sorry if this is an obvious question but: did you *delete* Guild Wars or did you *uninstall* Guild Wars?
