I can open the game and get into the character select, but when i try to play it goes to the load screen for whatever area I was in last, and its stays on 0% for a minute or two then I get this message.

Guild Wars was unable to connect to the game server due to a network error. This may be caused by internet routing issues or a server network failure.

If this problem persists, please visit the Guild Wars supper website. (216.107.245.45:6112)(Code=005)

Its been like this for a day or so now, anyone know if theres anything I can do or will it just come back on its own sooner or later....

It could be one of three problems that I'm aware of:

1. Your pc network settings are incorrect. (so you wouldn't have been able to post this)

2. ArenaNet's servers are down in your area. (possible, but for that long?)

3. Your internet service provider is using less than stellar software algorithms for routing decisions. (I've had this issue MULTIPLE times with Charter)

If the last is the issue, using the tracerout (actual command = tracert) will show you the number of 'hops' your isp takes you to get to your destination.

You can use google to find about the tracert command. If you need more help with this you can pm me. The best thing to do would be to use tracert on the anet servers, however, I don't know where the anet serverlist is or even if it exists.

If you run PeerGuardian, disable it or exit it.
