Sound Problems
Game graphics are fine, sound lags and reverberates terribly. Would adding 512 ram help?
My rig is as follows: Systemax™ Venture B524 Intel® Pentium® 4 Processor 3.06GHz HT / Microsoft® Windows® XP Professional / 512MB DDR / 80GB HDD / DVD-ROM/CD-RW Combo / Gigabit LAN / Desktop PC PowerColor Radeon 9550 / 256MB DDR / AGP 8X / VGA / DVI / TV Out / Video Card Game graphics are fine, sound lags and reverberates terribly. Would adding 512 ram help? Thanks for your consideration |

I'm not convinced that the ram is why your sound is messing up. The first thing I would do is make sure you have the latest and greatest sound and video card drivers.
Having said that, 1gb is the bare minimum I would suggest for XP & gaming, 2gb seems to be the sweet spot, more is overkill unless you do video editing. For Vista, double the above ram suggestions. |

Try turning off the hardware 3D sound in the game, it's very buggy on a lot of integrated sound chips.
