this, did not work. im going to reinstall windows. if this doesnt work i have no clue whats wrong. i dont understand how something like this appears out of the blue.. this is the last resort as i've tried everything.

Could also be your graphics card or other components overheating. Check (or get your Dad to check) inside the case for dust, hair etc., that may be clogging up fans, particularly in and around the graphics card.

The GeForce FX series is pretty old now, and wasn't the best from Nvidia at the time either. Try asking your old man for an upgraded system

the only bad part about my computer is the graphics card which is going to be upgraded when my dad gets another better graphics card.. and i've been using this one fine for awhile now so i dont understand whats causing this.

you guys were right, my graphics card crapped out on me.

i am using the same exact version of my graphics card right now lool
