Default Is this Laptop ok?

Hey guys, im no computer expert but the laptop im using now is pretty much had it!

Iv been looking around and have no more then 7oo pounds to spend, i found this laptop - my parents dont really want me to buy it from an internet shop, so it has to have a store.

I was woundering if this laptop was any good, for playing games, music, DVDs, doing work!

Pretty good laptop, will easily run Guild Wars on high while playing music.

Only problem you'll have is the occasional Vista bugs.

However, some older games might not work properly if you have 4GB memory.

And what exactly do you mean with... "doing work"?

There arnt any older games i will want to play, possibly call of duty 3. Will this laptop run that ok?

Im starting second year of Uni soon, so just word, programming, but it will mostly be used for games. whathcing videos and playing music.

that laptop should meet all your university needs with no trouble, based on the specs provided. If you can afford it, get an extended warranty too. There's nothing worse than having a problem just after your one yr warranty is up, when you could have had a three yr warranty for just a little more.

Comet offer a extended warrant, but its about 140 pounds...

Tell Comet to stick their extended warranty up their expansion port - Comet warranties, just like those of the Dixons group, are vastly overpriced rip-offs.
