you are missing a powersupply. aim for something in the 700W range with 80%+ efficiency if you want to go crossfire later on.

also, that motherboard only has one PCI-e X16 2.0 slot, so you won't be able to go crossfire at all. if you want to keep that board and still use crossfire, then get a HD4870X2.

what do you intend to do with this computer? If you do allot of multi tasking or use it for a variety of analysis of graphics and statistics etc... and not just gaming then I strongly suggest a Quad Core CPU.

Don't forget the OS too in your final price...

Yes I know I would need vista 64 bit and a guy where i am buying comp dont charge for installing os so that is ok,but didnt know that for motherboard little noobish in computers, this is mostly for gaming...

For powersupply ill see that when i order my comp

Ill probably change motherboard, but is really need changing to quadcore?

Thanx for advices...

PS sry for my bad english

if it's not for gaming, then you don't need a quad core.

if you really want to have crossfire, get the HD4780X2. that's essentially two HD4780 in crossfire, and you don't need a motherboard with dual PCI-e x16 slots.

for a system like this, the power supply is EXTREMELY important. make sure to get a name-brand power supply with 80%+ efficiency rating, and at least 650W.

Hmm my budget is not so high thats why i said i would buy later for few months another 4870(4870x2 will cost me about 600$ and 4870 would cost me half the price)

And what really bother me u said if its for gaming i need quad core, elder say i dont need it for gaming,so which one is true?

Supply CORSAIR 650W, TX Series CMPSU-650TXEU, 12cm vent
Is this good?

no, elder said: "if you do more than just gaming on this PC, then get quad core."

or in other words, if gaming is all you do on it, don't bother with quad core. quad core will only benefit you if you do some heavy graphic editing and CAD.

anyways, if you want to buy one HD4870 and get another one later, you must change to a different motherboard. your current one will only accept one graphic card.

given your current configurations, you'll need a motherboard with the X38 chipset. that will give you two PCI-e x16 slots with all 16 lanes enabled. cheaper motherboards with cheaper chipsets will give you the two slots, but limit you to only eight lanes enabled, which will affect performance at really high resolutions.

speaking of resolutions... what kind of monitor are you using? if it's smaller than a 1920x1080 resolution, you're better off by just using one card.

Go with an E8400 CPU imo, it's cheaper and is just as good, except for a multiplier .5 smaller. Not worth buying the E8500 unless you plan to overclock it a lot...

1440x1050? that's a pretty odd resolution.

anyways, that motherboard is worse than the one you have. it does have two PCI-e X16 slots, but only one has the full 16 lanes. the other one only has 4. not to mention, this board has PCI-e x16 1.1, instead of PCI-e X16 2.0 (it's slower, but you generally won't notice it).

if you're not going to bother with crossfire, stick with your original motherboard.

Well then you should get the E8400. The cards are identical, both 3ghz, both 333mhz FSB, the only difference being the E8400 has a 9x multiplier, whereas the E8500 has a 9.5x. That is it. Aside from that, the cards are EXACTLY the same thing. So unless you're gonna overclock and need the .5, there's no reason to spend money on the E8500, because it's the exact same card.

Screw quad-core, unless you're doing hardcore video editing I don't think it will do you much better than the E8400. And yes, skimp the $20 on the processor, it really won't make any difference. I recommend spending it on a fan (the Intel stock fans are shit) or upgrading your motherboard.

Check that mobo out, I have it and I think it's fantastic, also supports crossfire and your 8gb memory. Also has nice options for future upgradeability.
