Default Buying a laptop

Just need opinions. I am not looking to spend anything over $1,000.

Looking to play games like WoW, GW, CoD4, TF2.

Also looking to be able to take notes for college and that means I want decent battery.

The MSI one got a good write up in PCgamer (magazine), but it has a somewhat limited screen rez. You might want to check the screen rez of the others before deciding. I would lean towards #3 (ASUS) or #2 (MSI)

#3 gets my vote - I am quite pleased with every Asus product I have ever owned.
