Default Psu

Hey,
My psu(coolermaster gx650) died a few while ago and I rma'd it, I also asked if I could switch it for a modular one. Now I have a coolermaster silent pro gold 600. My question is: is this a good psu?

Greetings from belgium!

It's a good enough PSU for what it is, the question is, what do you want to do with it? That is what determines if it matches your needs or not...

Performance and build quality of that PSU is decent, though +12v ripple is a little on the high side... but nothing alarming.

Good thing you got rid of the GX650, it's a huge pile of trash, the GX750 can barely do 450w without going out of spec, shoddy build quality aswell.

As Elder said, it depends what you want to run on it. 600w is enough for any single GPU setup though.
