Default Laptop with extra monitor

I need a computer for work thats mostly office stuff. I want a laptop that I can use in a docking station at home and use both the laptop screen the the extra screen.

The ones I'm looking at have IntelĀ® HD Graphics 3000 and 4000 the highest.

I want to be able to have a NPD program open on one screen then another online office open on the other. I don't know about laptops and if I'll be able to do this.

Also is the i3-2370M 2.4 enough or should I go for the i5?

As far as I know, the Intel graphics should be able to handle dual screens, but it's not something I'm familiar with.

Of the processors, the i3-2370m is an older Sandy Bridge dual-core part with HD3000 graphics.

The i5-3210m is a newer Ivy Bridge dual-core part, with HD 4000 graphics, a slightly faster clock speed and better turbo-boost.

The i7-3612Qm is a true quad-core with HD 4000 graphics

Of the three, I would lean toward the i5 over the i3 because of the better graphics and faster speeds. The i7 would only be needed if you use some highly threaded apps that can make use of the extra cores and HT.

I would suggest you try posting this in Guru2 forums where there are more people who have used dual-screens with a laptop and can give you a better answer about that. http://www.guildwars2guru.com/forum/...nical-support/
