Default Graphics controller memory usage

basically, ive set my maximum usage for my graphics controller as high as i can, but it still only uses like 8mb. there is a place in properties were ive set my max to 96mb, but there is a place in my bios that i can only set graphics memory usage to 8mb.(or 1mb) From my research ive discovered that something called the DVMT controlls my memory usage, and apparently there is no way to control the DVMT. im using an intel chipset w/windows 2000. any suggestions are greatly appreciated. its not a huge issue cus i can still run GW fine, just not WC3FT .
